Driver was a delight to work with

I just wanted to pass along how happy I was with our driver Marcus. He was a delight to work with and never questioned any decision that I made. Everyone on the tour seemed to like him and, above all, he is an excellent driver.

Our driver Martin was courteous, personable, and accommodating

On behalf of the MOD’s LGBT+ Network, and all MOD personnel who marched, thank you for your support to our participation in Pride In London this year. The support that you and your colleagues gave in transporting the marching band to and from London (and within the parade area) was invaluable. I would especially like to thank your driver on the day, Martin, who was exceptional. Martin was absolutely unflappable despite all the pressures of navigating road closures, revellers and other (less patient and professional) drivers in a busier-than-usual central London. He was courteous, personable, and accommodating and he kept in close touch with us throughout to reassure us regarding drop-offs and pick-ups. In short, both his driving and his client-facing skills were first-rate.

A big thank you to everyone at Felixstowe Travel

We had a trip to Hyde Hall Gardens on Thursday and we just wanted to say what a really lovely outing it was. The driver, Martin, was excellent as was the guide Anita. The staff at Hyde Hall were very courteous and kind. I was able to hire a mobility scooter as I wouldn’t have been able to walk around the best places to see. There was a lot of walking but thankfully I rang them before we went and they loaned me their brand new scooter. Altogether it was a thoroughly enjoyable day and the sun shone beautifully too. A big thank you to everyone at Felixstowe Travel.

Lovely coach trip to London

I would like to say a big thank you for the excellent driver we had last night for our mystery trip from the Labour Club. David was as usual smartly dressed, polite and friendly. He had us going round in circles on the way to The Castle at Framlingham, Slowing down near various places so the people on the coach thought they were going there. We even had a mystery trip coming home thanks to the A12 being closed.

I would also like to thank you on behalf of those that travelled to Weston Super Mare in July. We enjoyed Mick's company and the great service he provided. As normal smartly dressed, polite and friendly. The coach was comfortable, clean and had plenty of leg room, adjustable seats for those who liked a bit more room. I would like to say a special thanks to Mick for helping me arrange this trip with his ideas for the day out. Must say the Cider Farm was very popular.

Thursford 2019 Part 2

Just to let you know how pleased we were with all the arrangements yesterday to Thursford - although it rained most of the journey there and all the way back Dave was super. It was also so nice to have his wife with him as courier and the chocolates were a lovely touch. Dave really had a tough journey back through Coddenham, etc. because of the accident on the A14 but it didn't seem to bother him and we all felt OK because he kept us in touch with what was going on. It was a wonderful show and we also had plenty of time to get food and go around the Winter Wonderland, a lovely way to start our Christmas.

Timing for the return pick up was always going to be difficult based upon estimated schedules, factoring into the nature of travel abroad, for example the Ferry crossing we boarded an earlier sailing, contributing towards two hours earlier at our pick up point.

Telephoning from the previous coach drop off with our expected arrival time, was always going to put pressure on our arrangement, however I and my party was most surprised and thankful to see our taxi waiting for us, avoiding a possible long cold evening wait after a very long day of travel.

I cannot fault your service – from making the booking, punctual collection times, and awkward situation into a rescue. Based upon this experience I would certainly recommend your service without hesitation, and propose to book again in the future.

I cannot thank Mick enough for coming to our rescue in our hour of need. We were stranded in the middle lane of the Copdock Roundabout for nearly two hours trying to find alternative transport to get us to London to see my son's band play at the O2 Acadmey in Islington (an event you can imagine no mum would want to miss). We were given absolutely no help with this from either our original hire company or their driver. Mick was an absolute legend and within less than 45 minutes of contacting him he had rearranged his afternoon and evening and was with us at Copdock with a very smart coach and a much needed cheerful smile. We were finally on our way, we had a great journey there and back and Mick completely restored our faith in human nature.
